First aid kit for mountain hiking

When hiking in the mountains or in the high mountains, possible health problems are very specific. The most common are: blisters (or blisters), sprains, the acute mountain sickness, snow blindness,
sunburn. A first aid kit well suited to the conditions encountered during operation will be most useful. 
The ideal composition of a first aid kit for hiking in the mountains is:

  • Bulbs: antiseptic, compresses, hydrocolloid dressings (double breathable skin), kind Elastoplast tape to keep the more hydrocolloid dressing, sharp scissors to remove the skin only if the bulb is already drilled.
  • Sprains and muscle pain: anti-inflammatory ointment, ointment relaxant, cold compresses, anti-inflammatory tablets, paracetamol.
  • Acute mountain sickness (difficulty of acclimatization causing a lack of oxygen to the brain) preventive treatment with acetazolamide (Diamox®, prescription medication). Treatment is based on the supply of oxygen and aspirin accompanied by the medical profession.
  • Snow blindness: glacier goggles, anti-irritant eye drops, occlusive dressing.
  • Sunburn: sunscreen maximum index, cream for burns. Protective lipstick.
  • Miscellaneous: hemostatic compresses when nosebleeds, disinfectant for hands without water, toilet wipes, ear plugs, sugar, survival blanket.
